Meet the team

Silke is a resourceful Strategic Procurement Consultant and Manager, accredited Probity Practitioner and German trained lawyer with extensive experience in strategic procurement, category and contract management as well as strategic sourcing in both corporate and public sector environments. Bringing a collaborative approach to procurement, her focus is one of customer/human centric design to achieve measurable business outcomes and improvements.​

Silke has a solid technical understanding of strategic category management processes and strategic sourcing with extensive supplier mapping and contract management knowledge. She has extensive experience in government tendering in a legislated environment and is an expert advisor on best practice procurement practice in the local government sector. Silke has a proven track record of designing and delivering sustainable procurement sector guidance and framework. She also has extensive experience with internal and external stakeholder collaboration and management, and vendor management. ​

​Her career achievements include:

– Project lead of the procurement part of stage 4 of the Local Government Act 2020 implementation project

– Providing ongoing expert knowledge and advice in the application of continuous improvement in procurement and probity practices across the local government sector​

– Lead for recycling services contracts in the DEWLP recycling industry collapse special task force​

– Negotiated and managed the contract performance of major commercial professional services contracts​

– Achieved savings up to EUR 500K (AUD $700K) per contract engagement​
