End-to-end Procurement Program
This organisation is responsible for the provision of air traffic management, air navigation support and Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting Services (ARFFS) to the aviation industry. The organisation’s core business is the provision of Air Traffic Control, flight decision support information and aviation fire-fighting services.
In 2023, they went out to market with ArcBlue’s support, in search for a qualified and experienced supplier for the design, supply, install, test and commission of Western Sydney International Airport (WSIA) Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting Facility, specifically a $25 million Hot Fire Training Structure (HFTS).
ArcBlue Engagement
ArcBlue was engaged to undertake the end-to-end HFTS procurement process, in line with the client’s procurement framework and policies. We conducted the necessary market research, business case and acquisition strategy required to ensure best value-for-money outcomes and legislation compliances were achieved.
Outcomes
Following our engagement, ArcBlue successfully secured a supplier contract within a demanding 2-month timeframe. This achievement was crucial in preventing any adverse effects on the main WSIA construction work program resulting from HFTS procurement activities.
The successful procurement of HFTS not only fulfilled immediate needs but also generated significant value both internally and externally. It enhanced key stakeholder and supplier relationships, thereby bolstering the overall governance framework of the client’s procurement operations. This outcome reflects our commitment to excellence in procurement management and our ability to navigate complex timelines and requirements effectively.
