A new chapter for ArcBlue:
Welcoming Managing Director Daniel Collings

Dan and Chris have played a pivotal role in shaping ArcBlue into the company it is today. Their leadership and entrepreneurial vision have been central to our growth and success across the Asia Pacific region, and their contributions leave a lasting legacy. Their commitment to procurement excellence and their innovative mindsets have impacted the way procurement is undertaken across multiple sectors in Australia and the APAC region, and for our team they’ve been a consistent guiding force, inspiring us to be better, think bigger, deliver more value and importantly, to always be authentic with each other and our clients.

Over the past three years, Dan and Chris have worked closely with Bain to lay the groundwork for this next chapter in the ArcBlue story. As they step away, they do so with confidence in the future of the business and pride in what we’ve collectively achieved.

As a business we’re excited to look ahead at what comes next. We’re pleased to introduce Daniel Collings as the new Managing Director for ArcBlue. Daniel has spent the last 20 years at our sister company, Proxima, working at the forefront of procurement consulting, where he established and led Proxima’s US business, based out of Chicago. Proxima are a consulting business specialising in Procurement & Supply Chain with procurement practitioners across the US, UK and Europe, with a track record of working with many of the largest companies in the region.

Now located in the APAC region, having visited many times with his New Zealander wife Catherine, Daniel recently moved to Auckland with Catherine and their two children.

The ArcBlue team is excited to be able to leverage Daniel’s experiences and connection to Proxima’s global workforce and IP network. Closer ties between our two organisations will bring the best of both to our valued clients across our broad service offering.

Daniel has led numerous cost and capability transformation initiatives over the last two decades in Europe and North America and is keen to leverage this expertise to further strengthen the ArcBlue Cost Optimisation practice, with a focus on high impact cost transformation and value creation for our clients.  Daniel states, “Across Bain, Proxima and ArcBlue, our record on large scale cost transformation is second to none and we are all looking forward to creating even more value for our clients in the next chapter”.

Supporting Daniel to lead the ArcBlue team are established ArcBlue leaders across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
