Dan has spent his 25-year career working as a senior global supply chain executive and business transformation specialist across leading O&G, Mining, Manufacturing, Construction, and Infrastructure organisations, with operational experience across Scandinavia, North America, Asia, and Australasia.

He has managed and developed large global high-performance teams through complex change and transformation projects and has consistently met aggressive cost reduction targets with accountability for billion-dollar cost bases. He has delivered award-winning results in fast-paced environments and tough economic conditions and has a track record of building credibility with stakeholders at all levels.

Recently working inside Tier 1. construction companies and as a consultant at ArcBlue, Dan has assisted organisations with local industry development plans, and the alignment of their Environmental, Social, and Governance strategies with client requirements and Procurement best practice.

Whilst working at Schlumberger Dan led several global shared service centres, created supply chain organisations from scratch, worked on $500M+ new product development and design for supply chain projects, relocated manufacturing operations from Norway to Malaysia, and wrote a logistic strategy outlining how to enter the remote Papua New Guinean highlands. Dan is driven by his sense of adventure and unconventional thinking.

Dan holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Procurement, Postgraduate qualifications in Enterprise Resource Planning and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business. He’s a black belt in Six Sigma and has full Membership in the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS).
