Haig is passionate about demand-led end-to-end supply chain management and excellence of all supply chain functions. Commencing in logistics and progressing through leadership position in analytics, manufacturing and procurement, Haig has the all-round supply chain knowledge to ensure supply chains adapt for 2030 and beyond. He maintains the belief that, despite rapid advances in automation and analytics, procurement and supply chain management will always be a human endeavour. Haig has driven innovation in the intersections of demand, supply, service levels and working capital. This includes hands-on implementation and roll-outs of Sales & Operations Planning processes within global companies.

A long-time proponent of Lean and the power of root-cause failure analysis, Haig has facilitated workshops and trained staff in conducting collaborative root-cause failure analysis between supply chain participants and implementing continuous improvement frameworks. These have included areas as diverse as safe warehousing procedures, purchasing automation, remote area project mobilisation, inventory optimisation and rapid international logistics.

Skilled in supply chain modelling and network optimisation projects, Haig has advised companies in the areas of transport cost optimisation, warehouse location and inventory policies. Given the fast-paced nature of modern supply chains, he believes companies must have digital versions of their supply chains to enable informed rapid decision making on supply chain strategy. 

Haig has been recognised for his work in the MRO (Maintenance Repairs and Operations) industry and implementing best-practice in this sector with challenges of intermittent demand, long lead times, complex inventory and reverse logistics.

Haig has attained a Master of Science in Supply Chain and a Bachelor of Science Majoring in Economics.
