Meet the team

Petra joined our team with more than 20 years’ experience in corporate, government and not for profit sectors in roles in Procurement and Supply Chain. Petra’s recent background has involved the leadership, research, design, and development of pioneering and transformational programs within social procurement. Her solid project management experience turns conceptual ideas into tangible social initiatives and outcomes through leveraging procurement processes and place-based programs.

She has been immersed in the Social Procurement Framework since its launch in Victoria in 2018, through all levels of the procurement process with skills in developing tenders and social procurement plans with Government Buyers through to helping SMEs understand how to bid and achieve their targets. ​ Petra brings a practical, solutions orientated and can-do approach to achieving social outcomes through procurement and inclusive employment initiatives.

​Petra’s recent relevant experience includes:  ​The design and program leadership of the GROW Bendigo (Growing Region Opportunities for Work) – a place-based initiative using the levers of social procurement and inclusive employment on major projects to drive social outcomes for the local Bendigo community. ​Sustainable procurement design for an International Australian based corporate construction organisation – project lead which included current state review, strategy framework design through to implementation. ​Project management of a capacity and capability building program for SMEs based in the Melbourne’s West to increase their ability to win work on state government major projects.​ Project Management of GROW Gippsland – Stakeholder engagement developing action plans that have social impact with government organizations and corporate entities along with the development of a procurement framework for a regional Aboriginal Corporation​.
