Meet the team
Prior to Henri’s role with ArcBlue, he was working as a Bid Manager/Coordinator for Allegis Group, a global provider of talent solutions. During that time, Henri supported four operating companies: Allegis Global Solutions, TEKsystems, Aston Carter and Aerotek; across eight countries: Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, India, and the United Kingdom.
Due to his breadth of roles, Henri has participated in and managed a wide variety of different bidding opportunities, everything from simple compliance questionnaires to several hundred-page RFPs, to PowerPoint based proposals and in person pitches. For those opportunities, Henri acted as Bid Manager, Bid Writer and Designer, coordinating SMEs, putting together all the required content and presenting it back to the client in a brand aligned, yet eye-catching format. Working visually is of particular interest to Henri, so whenever possible he utilised tools such as PowerPoint to convey proposals.
During his tenure, Henri has had both the privilege and responsibility to build up a bid function from the bottom up. When he joined Aston Carter in the UK, he was their first dedicated Bid Manager, which meant that he needed to focus his efforts on not only helping the team win, but also to building the bid library, creating the bid engagement processes, and elevating the proposal quality. Henri’s time with Aston Carter, the bid function became a critical part of the business, forming as a key avenue for the sales team to get support and enhancement for their proposals.
Through this newfound partnership, Aston Carter enhanced their proposals and won the largest managed services deal in company history, as well as several smaller yet key client engagements. This significantly impacted company performance, and due to the bid functions success, Henri was honoured with a Services Delivery Award.
Henri attains a Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Psychology from Macquarie University, and a Graduate Diploma in Psychological Science from Australian College of Applied Psychology.
Each bid response is a chance to start fresh, to bring everything you have learnt together and elevate your response. Staying agile and maintaining continuous improvement is key in winning.
