Kim is an Honours graduate of Technology Management from Liverpool John Moores University (UK) and an internationally experienced senior procurement professional. Her experience spans Direct and Indirect categories, across a wide range of industries, including financial services, oil & gas, FMCG, manufacturing and telecommunications industries in the UK and Australia
Kim has a diverse set of complementary experience in procurement, project management, sales & logistics. She has a formidable reputation for driving significant cost savings in organisations where procurement is not mandated, but savings targets are set.
Kim has 10 years of experience in the financial services sector with MLC, ANZ Bank and GE Capital. During this time, she developed and executed ANZ’s global category strategy for the $600M People Services & Consulting portfolios, covering consultancies, permanent and contractor recruitment services. Influenced and mentored a global team in Australia, NZ and Singapore to achieve `savings targets of >$17M. Instigated supply, demand and performance management activities within the portfolio. Led multiple initiatives to drive significant savings across Technology spend. Influenced the business to move to and led MSP & VMS tender process for Contingent Labour.
During Kim’s time in the Oil and Gas industry, she was responsible for the development and execution of category strategies, for Marketing, HR, Legal, Consulting, Retail & Trading. She led all major sourcing activity and negotiations, built relationships with internal stakeholders, aligned (where locally beneficial) strategies with global direction, and managed an array of 3rd party relationships. She also led the procurement process for the “Deluge water” retail product, hitting key in-store dates and exceeding agreed targets.
