Sam has a strong background in analytics and cost management, with prior experience in watchmaking companies as a wholly buying office purchasing the whole watches as a costing engineer, and as a mixture of buy-and-make components business model as a data systems manager.

Sam worked with direct procurement category and his major job role was providing data support to the procurement team such as benchmarking study of the components and spend analysis. He also worked as a business analyst to communicate between procurement team and IT team on ERP system and report enhancements.

Within his procurement career, he developed a sourcing strategy with senior management, implemented the first-ever quarterly supplier scorecard and internal KPI, and worked with the IT team to improve the ERP system setup to boost data accuracy.

Sam holds a BSc degree in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology majoring in Mathematics (Statistics and Financial Mathematics track).
