Steven has  28 years of experience and knowledge on total Supply Chain Management including Procurement, Logistics and Planning plus Quality Assurance. He has successfully delivered several consulting engagements in Procurement, Supply Chain and Food Safety in China and Asia.

With a proven track record across many business units in reputable multinational companies in Asia-Pacific Region and global headquarters, he has also chaired global sourcing steering groups for core commodities and categories throughout his engagements.

Steven has a history of delivering remarkable cost savings and optimization milestones through effective techniques and best practices for FMCG – food manufacturing, retail and logistics industries.  He has 13 years experience at Mars Inc., the global FMCG-food manufacturing company where he held several senior positions within Procurement of direct material, in-direct services and Asia sourcing as well as Logistics Head for both China and Hong Kong.

He has also held roles in vendor assurance and quality management. Steven was a member of the global sourcing steering group for several core commodities and categories in the company. He has been the driver and leader on material localization and establishing supply chain solutions for food production and retail industries when they entered China and Asia markets.

Steven is knowledgeable in operational process and e-tools such as LEAN Manufacturing, SAP MRP, VMI, JIT, PULL/PUSH, S&OP process, PR/PO, e-Auction, CRM.
