Procurement Framework Review & Development

ArcBlue was engaged by this Federal Government agency involving:

-Procurement capability maturity assessment,

-Document and systems review, and

-Technology Business unit stakeholder survey.

This Federal Financial services organisation operated in a decentralised procurement model. The Technology Procurement team provided a procurement service to the Technology Business Unit. This growth happened at the same time they embarked on a rejuvenated set of strategic objectives.

To prepare for the procurement activity growth and the implementation of the their strategic objectives it was necessary to review the adequacy of the current services provided by Technology Procurement team. This required:

  • Procurement capability maturity assessment,
  • Document and systems review,
  • Technology Business unit stakeholder survey.

Through this, ArcBlue created the following:

  • Findings and Recommendations Report,
  • Implementation Roadmap.

Since this engagement, this organisation has established a centralised procurement team using the Technology Procurement team and the ArcBlue Findings and Recommendations report as the foundation to manage a transformation program. ArcBlue continue to support their Procurement team with their transformation program and with resources to assist their procurement activity.​
